The Printable STR Bathroom Checklist
October 20, 2026

A checklist does two things. It makes sure nothing gets missed, and it makes every turn the same no matter who's cleaning. Below is the bathroom checklist we recommend. Print this page, laminate it and keep a copy on every cleaning cart.

- ☐ Clean the mirror and glass, streak-free
- ☐ Wipe the vanity, sink, faucet and handles
- ☐ Scrub the shower walls, floor and fixtures
- ☐ Clear the shower and sink drains of hair
- ☐ Wipe the outside of every dispenser
- ☐ Clean the toilet last: tank, lid, seat, bowl and base
- ☐ Sweep or vacuum, then mop the floor
- ☐ Dry-wipe faucets and fixtures to remove water spots

Tips for using a checklist well
- Laminate it and use a dry-erase marker so it can be reused on every turn.
- Keep it in the same order as the work. Cleaners shouldn't have to jump around the page.
- Pair it with reference photos. Take photos of each bathroom set up exactly the way it should look: how towels hang on the rack, where everything sits on the vanity, how the shower is arranged. Keep them with the checklist. They're a quick visual reminder for everyone, and especially helpful for new team members.
- Take reference photos throughout the house. The same idea works in every room, and it matters most for the beds: how pillows are stacked, how the duvet is turned down, where the throw sits. A photo keeps every bed looking the same for every guest. The small details make a difference.
- Update it. Every time something gets missed, add it.
